Jesus’ own brothers (and mother) doubted Him! Wow. Families can be messy. But these siblings show that there is room in the family of Jesus. There is room in the family for doubters. Room for those who don’t immediately believe. One of these brothers is James. We know he had a turn of faith after the resurrection. What a challenge to understand that your brother is the Lord! Hebrews 2:11-12 reminds us that Jesus is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters. Actually, He is ready to go to the Cross to make it possible for us to be adopted and join the family.
