There is an old saying, it is hard to hate up close. The nearer you get to someone, the harder it is to hold ill will or bad feelings about them. Sometimes we just need to hear and understand each other a little better. God encourages our hearts too as we remember that revenge and justice are not ours to make happen; God will take care of evening all the debts in the end. We can just move toward people in love and break down barriers to community. From isolation and fear, through Jesus, to community. Move closer to others in Jesus’ name.
