Summer Camps

Jesus is the Water of Life. This theme of water begins in the Garden of Eden and continues throughout the biblical narrative, finding fulfillment in the personhood of Jesus Christ. Each summer, rising 3rd through 6th graders spend a week (overnight) at Camp Elim filled with high-energy games, outrageous laughter with friends, and time with God. Campers step out of their daily rhythms and into an atmosphere of genuine love and care from adult leaders who walk alongside them as they grow deeper in faith.

Summer Serve Camp combines the values of faith, service, and community outreach. This year, we have partnered with Blueprint in San Antonio, TX. The focus is on making a positive and lasting impact that aligns with Christian values of love, compassion, and service. Blueprint Ministries restores homes and hope for low-income individuals and families living in substandard housing. Every summer, Blueprint hosts (overnight) middle school and high school-aged students to participate in one of Blueprint’s week-long mission camps. Those who attend share the love of Jesus Christ and transform homeowners’ lives through their hard work.

The Fine Arts Workshop gives middle school and high school students the opportunity to express themselves in a variety of media. From drawing to painting, 2-D to 3-D, artists will explore the partnership between art and faith. It is in our DNA to be creative, and our experienced camp staff will help campers tap into that desire. Students will have a chance to display what they’ve learned in an art exhibition in conjunction with the Friday night string concert.
