Marcos Henry currently serves as the Youth Ministries Director at First Pres. Marcos is from San Diego, California and has been in youth ministry for 6 years. He has been called upon to prepare and equip students to have an intentional and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Marcos came to know the Lord at the age of 16, and his life was changed drastically. His encounter with the Lord led him to pursue a BA in Christian Ministries at Azusa Pacific University. Previously, Marcos has worked at a non-profit serving at risk youth, Pepperdine University as an Assistant Resident Director and as a Spiritual Pastoral Mentor at Azusa Pacific University. During this time, Marcos also helped to develop a youth program with a church plant for 4 years. Marcos continued his education to get a Masters in Divinity at Azusa Pacific Seminary working with college students, spiritual care, and discipleship. Marcos has been married to his beautiful wife, Chloe, who grew up in First Pres, for 3 years. Marcos and Chloe love to host, make good food, and go on fun adventures! Rumors say Marcos makes the best guacamole in town.
