String Camp is all about sacred and classical musical performance to the glory of God. It’s an opportunity to grow as a musician and learn to play as part of an orchestra or ensemble. There will be two orchestra’s, an intermediate and an advanced orchestra, and students will rehearse and be coached in large groups as well as sectionals. The camp ends with a concert on Friday, June 24 at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The minimum skill level requirement is at least one year of study on the instrument, as well as the ability to read and play from sheet music. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost is $90 per camper.
