Collegiate Scholarship Program

First Pres offers a $1000 annual scholarship to college students who are members and/or engaged in the ministries of First Pres. This scholarship is granted by the Family Ministry Staff and Elders and is funded generously by the First Pres Foundation. The scholarship is capped at 25 scholars per year.  

Priority will be given to those who:

• have demonstrated active participation in the ministries of First Pres (youth group, college ministry, etc.) 
• are members of First Pres (via confirmation or membership class) 
• have maintained a 2.5 or better cumulative GPA

Timing for 2025 is as follows:

• Applications Open: January 2, 2026
• Application Closing Date: March 9, 2026
• Scholarships Awarded Date: week of March 3, 2026
• Funds Dispersed Date: August, 2026
