Sam Arnold

More about Sam: At Wheaton, I pitched for and was captain of our baseball team, and was fortunate enough to go on a team mission trip to Colombia during my junior year. I drummed for the school’s chapel band in my junior and senior years. I aspire to serve the community through a career in local government.

Interests: : Baseball, exercise, worship, the San Diego Padres, coffee, and podcasts about music.

James Dempsey

Hometown: Loughrea, Ireland

University: Belhaven University

Field of Study: Sports Management

Internship: Head JV soccer coach at Vista Ridge High School and a head coach with Pride Soccer Club

More about James: While I was at Belhaven, I played soccer and coached at a local youth club where I discovered my passion for coaching. I was a college ministry leader at Fondren Church and assisted in leading my college group on a mission trip to the Mississippi Delta during my senior year. After completing the Fellows program, I plan to pursue a graduate assistant position with the soccer program at UCCS here in the Springs.

Interests: Photography, Weightlifting, Skiing, Travel and watching my favorite soccer team Manchester United play.

Noah Graham

Hometown: Brevard, North Carolina

University: North Carolina State University

More about Noah: I got to run D1 cross country and track at North Carolina State for a couple years. I was a Young Life College leader all four years of college, and this last summer I took eight kids on a nine-day backpacking trip along the Appalachian Trail. I’m struggling to learn how to cook for myself because my mom’s cooking was too good.

Interests: Being outside, playing sports, reading, learning French, finding the best chocolate milk brands.

Emma Gwynn

Hometown: Greensboro, North Carolina

University: Appalachian State University

More about Emma: I was a member of RUF & NewLife, two campus ministries where I was in various small groups. This really sparked my passion for relationships and community. I find joy in friendships, creativity, and a really strong cup of coffee. I hope to be a part of young adult community building at First Pres! I love all things about outdoor adventure and am stoked about everything Colorado has to offer.

Interests: Design, running, biking, hiking, dark chocolate and my dog Tucker.

Cabrey Keller

More about Cabrey: At Washington and Lee, I served as a peer counselor and led pre-orientation backpacking trips for freshman. I worked as a volunteer coordinator for a tutoring program for underprivileged students at a local middle school, where I also led Wyld Life. I was a member of the ODK leadership society, PBK academic society, and a research assistant in the Stress and Sleep Lab at W&L.

Interests: Hiking, backpacking, running, frolicking, skiing, snowboarding, cooking and baking sourdough bread.

Abby Kreuger

Hometown: Holt, Michigan

University: Hope University

Field of Study: Communication (Media) with a minor in Leadership

More about Abby: I was a soccer player and a leader with our Athletic Ministry team on campus throughout college. I also worked as the Video Coordinator for our athletics department. I hope to pursue a career involving film in some way. My experiences traveling and studying abroad in Vienna have given me a deep appreciation for other cultures and I hope to continue exploring them.

Interests: Backpacking, snowboarding, film, travel, scuba diving, and having spontaneous adventures with friends.

Audrey Putney

More about Audrey: I studied abroad in London, where I interned at a humanitarian nonprofit. I’ve worked on the partnerships team at Darling magazine, and best of all, I served at a Christian camp for two summers leading middle schoolers. I was in an interdisciplinary core program at Baylor, where I studied different cultures, philosophies and religions.

Interests: Reading, traveling, laughing with friends and family, lakes, and hiking.

Trent Russell

More about Trent: I served as a Resident Assistant in Troy’s international student residence hall for one year and served the international student community with a ministry called Campus Outreach. I participated in a language and culture study abroad trip in China and have been on mission trips to Belize, Brazil and other cities in the U.S.

Interests: Hiking, sports and traveling.

Lizzy Stokes

More about Lizzy: Throughout college, I spent my summers working as a whitewater rafting guide and led backcountry trips for Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista, Colorado. During the school year, I spent much of my time looking for new rivers to raft, exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, painting, or studying the complexities of sustainability. I once did a month-long backpacking trip in Alaska!

Interests: Hiking, rafting, painting, making and eating food with others, Nerds ropes, Trent’s T-shirt collection.

Matthew "Chew" Wilkinson

More about Matthew: In college, I engaged in ministry as a Young Life leader and as a youth group volunteer in my church while also serving on officer teams for a philanthropy called “The Wells Project” and for the Industrial Engineering professional society. I’m now preparing for a career within a local church and hope to learn about effective ministry practices as well as church administration
