Overcoming apathy. Jesus comes to meet us in our chambers. He stands at the door and knocks. Do we have enough energy to get up and let him in? Or are we, like the church of Laodicea, lukewarm, neither hot nor cold? Apathy is numbing. Jesus is enlivening. It is like moving from black and white to color when Jesus enters your life.
