Jonah gives us a picture of the challenge of evangelism in our times. God had an errand for Jonah. Jonah resisted that errand with all his might. Through miraculous and supernatural means, God made sure the errand was done. We are called to seek and save the lost, to evangelize the city. Do we care more about other things? Will race and nation, personal comfort and pride keep us from reaching the lost for Christ?
