The birth of Jesus is worthy of song! It is fair to say there is no event in all of human history that produced more songs than the birth of Jesus. It is worthy of song, and worthy of our singing. Singing opens our hearts to God. Singing unites us in harmony and unity. Singing gives glory to God. By our songs, we love and adore the Lord using our great gift of creativity. We participate in the glory of God when we sing. Christmas is coming. Let us sing! The account of the birth of Christ in the gospels is filled with songs. They can guide us as we joyfully sing.
