The Soul Care class is an interactive group-led class made up of diverse adults from varying ages and stages of life, including couples and singles. Dawntreaders is a welcoming and caring community with folks generally in their early 40s and beyond, with children primarily ranging from middle school to young adults (and several members have grandchildren!). The women in Precept Bible Study at First Presbyterian Church invite you to join us as we study God's word. Women from all ages and walks of life have been challenged to grow in their walk with Christ and in community with one another through this study for more than 20 years at First Pres. Precept Bible studies, written by Kay Arthur, use an inductive method that involves observation of the text, interpretation (using cross-references and historical information), and life application. Personal preparation involves five days of homework each week. When we gather, we spend time in teaching and discussion, followed by time in small group sharing and prayer, followed by an optional video presentation by Kay Arthur.

Strong Women, Strong Bones is an exercise class designed for women in midlife and older. This program was developed by Tufts University to help prevent, slow and improve osteoporosis, arthritis and other health conditions. Fill your cup with a compact, community-oriented lunch hour for busy women. We'll study An Unexplainable Life (by Erica Wiggenhorn) which focuses on Acts 1-12. Most of us live a shadow of the life we're called to live. More than any other book in the Bible, Acts shows us what life can be when lived in the power of God. This is an in-depth study meant to reignite a movement of the Holy Spirit in us individually and collectively.
Life is busy. Bible Study doesn't have to feel the same way.
