Calvin Conn

Hometown: Chattanooga, Tennessee

University: University of Tennessee

Field of Study: Biosystems Engineering

Internship: Crossfire Ministries

More about Calvin: I guided mountaineering and rock-climbing trips with Noah’s Ark for five seasons. Just finished a 12-month internship with College Life, a college ministry with Fellowship Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. I once did a 200-mile cross country bike ride on a sunshine yellow tandem bicycle.

Interests: Backpacking, rock climbing, reading, playing guitar and messing with Liza.

Liza Cunningham

Hometown: Knoxville, Tennessee

University: University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Field of Study: Advertising with a minor in Business Administration

Internship: Touch of Love International

More about Liza: Studied abroad in Sydney, Australia, where I worked for the Sydney Film Festival. Discovered a newfound relationship with Christ through Hillsong United Church. Studied Advertising Ethics from an intercultural perspective in Rome, Italy. College of Communication and Information Ambassador, Advertising Club Vice President, Student Advisor to the Provost, and recipient of the Chancellor’s Extraordinary Professional Promise Citation.

Interests: Painting, baking, country music, traveling, cycling, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and watching The Office.

Peter Dillon

Hometown: Richmond, Virginia

University: Virginia Tech

Field of Study: Financial Planning

Internship: Paraplanner at Petra Financial Advisors

More about Peter: Was a Young Life leader and track coach at a local middle school in college. I studied abroad throughout Central Europe; it was a business in culture study abroad trip, and we moved cities every few days. We went to Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic and Germany. Currently pursuing the CFP designation.

Interests: Loves to travel, hike and ski.

Jack Hebert

Hometown: St. Cloud, Minnesota

University: University of Minnesota Duluth

Field of Study: Marketing and Graphic Design

Internship: Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance

More about Jack: I guided rock climbing and mountaineering trips for Noah's Ark in Buena Vista, Colorado, and spent last summer as the Rock Climbing Program Director. Worked the last four years as a freelance photographer and graphic designer. Extremely passionate about my grandmother’s apple crisp.

Interests: Rock climbing, photography and stringed instruments.


Emma Hilpert

Hometown: Jacksonville, Florida

Field of Study: Marketing with a double minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership and International Studies

Internship: COSILoveYou

More about Emma: I have a heart for justice, serving people and making disciples. Studied abroad in India and Nepal to observe and empower local nonprofits serving people's needs across the country. Traveled to Cap Haitian, Haiti, with Projects4Haiti to use education as a tool for ending poverty and to raise up future leaders.

Interests: I love spending time in the outdoors! You can usually find me with a cup of coffee in my hand. If I'm not traveling, reading, running or spending time with friends then I'm probably at a concert.

Isaac Norton

Hometown: Beaufort, South Carolina

University: Belhaven University

Field of Study: Business Administration, minor in Mathematics

Internship: Keeney and Company Real Estate

More about Isaac: I was a member of the Dean's Circle, an FCA Huddle leader and Pine Lakes College ministry leader. I traveled and led with my church on multiple short-term mission trips to Mexico, France and Brazil.

Interests: Hiking, weightlifting, drawing, watching movies and reading at my local coffee shop.


Rose Maxwell

Hometown: Jackson, Mississippi

University: Washington and Lee University

Field of Study: Psychology, Religion, Poverty and Human Capabilities Studies

Internship: Dream Center’s Mary’s Home

More about Rose: At Washington & Lee, I was head of the Peer Counseling Program and was tapped for ODK leadership society. I love to sing and enjoyed leading the worship team for RUF as well as singing in the choir—University Singers. I led freshmen on backpacking trips throughout the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia and can’t wait to explore Colorado.

Interests: Exploring new places, climbing, baking, watching movies, harmonizing, attempting to play new musical instruments.


Abby Putz

More about Abby: I was President of Delight College Ministries at Auburn University 2018-19, have nine years of Spanish language experience and will attend Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, after Fellows. 

Interests: Hiking, running, climbing and reading.

Raleigh Schmidt

Hometown: Madison, Alabama

University: Birmingham-Southern College

Field of Study: Religion major/Biology minor, Pre-Health Concentration

Internship: Medical Technician

More about Raleigh: I’m an aspiring Physician Assistant, was a college cross country runner and on RUF servant team. I traveled to Tanzania for a month and hope to return sometime soon. I’m training to bike to the top of Pike’s Peak if the altitude doesn’t kill me first

Interests: Running, biking, hiking, and making funny videos for my friends’ enjoyment.
