Kids Nativity Service

An interactive, family friendly experience for the whole family

Join us at 11:00 am for a special and fun worship service where kids are invited to participate in the telling of the Christmas story. We provide all the costumes as you walk in, and we will help your kids get into character as they prepare to join in the story of Jesus’ birth. There is no nursery, as all children are welcome in the Worship Center.

Candlelight Services

A classic Christmas Eve worship experience

Celebrate the wonder of Christmas in our beautiful Sanctuary with classic services led by our Sanctuary Choir, full orchestra, and majestic pipe organ. Join us in singing beloved carols, hearing a hope-filled message of Everlasting Light for our ever-darkening world, and lighting candles together as we sing Silent Night. Come experience a timeless Christmas tradition at First Pres.

Christmas at the Table

A communion and candlelighting service

At 9 or 11 p.m., return to the Sanctuary for Christmas at the Table—a unique and immersive Christmas Eve experience. This beautifully crafted service blends modern worship instrumentation with orchestra for inspiring, spirit-filled worship, featuring guest artist Lizi Bailey. We’ll receive Communion, sing beloved carols, hear a hope-filled message of Everlasting Light, and close with candlelight and Silent Night. Step out afterward into the charm of downtown at night—full of beauty, nostalgia, and the joy of Christmas.

Get Your Free Tickets for Christmas Eve

While we do not charge for tickets to attend a service, seating is limited. We provide free tickets to guarantee a seat for you and everyone in your family. Tickets are available in person on Christmas Eve at the Welcome Hub at our Weber Street entrance on a first-come come first-served basis. Make plans to arrive about thirty minutes before service starts to receive your tickets, and you will be able to choose from floor or balcony seating for the Sanctuary services.

There are two accessible entry points. The drive-thru drop-off on Bijou Street is ideal for anyone who needs to use the ramp, and our team will be ready to greet you there; your family can join you after parking. You may also park in the south lot and follow the signs to the south entrance, where you will be guided to a waiting area where Tickets will be available for you.

New to Christmas Eve?

If you are a new guest and have kids, get a head start on Christmas Eve this year. Register your kids early for nursery and kids programming and breeze past the check in line before services. Secure your spot and enjoy a smooth start to a joyful celebration.

Directions and Parking

We are located at 219 E Bijou St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Free parking is available on site at our Weber Street lot or in the parking garage next to the YMCA. Both lots have easy access to the main entrance on Weber Street through the glass doors. Follow the signs for entry.
