Children's Ministry

First Pres Children's Ministry is created to be with you and for you as you raise kids in the faith. We create exciting and fun experiences each week to help kids grow in faith individually, in community, and as a family!

Stay Connected

In-Person Sunday School is Back

Starting February 21 | 10 a.m. | 3rd Floor Gym

Sunday School for kids ages K-5th grade will meet in the 3rd floor Gym for games, worship and Bible stories for a jumping-off point for you to worship together as a family. Parents, thank you for allowing us to partner with you to reach younger generations for Christ!

Check-In

Pre-registration is not required. When you arrive at First Pres, go to the check-in stations on the third floor where you will complete a brief check-in form. You'll receive a name tag for your child, one for the teacher, and one that will be an ID tag for you to pick up your child.

Interested In Volunteering?

We are looking for volunteers to join us in this ministry and come alongside children and families in their faith journey. Let us know you're interested by contacting Tim Wazny.

Our COVID Health and Safety Guidelines

We are excited to be able to meet in person on a regular basis again, but we also know that all of us want to gather as safely as possible. Here are some of the ways that we are working to ensure that.

Children’s and Student Ministry Spaces
  • All staff, volunteers and parents will wear masks at all times.
  • We provide health screening and temperature checks as each person enters the building.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the building.
  • We will strive to keep kids distanced as much as possible when they are sitting.
  • Drinking fountains are sealed and not accessible. Children and students are encouraged to bring their own water bottle.
  • Contact between individuals will be closely monitored in order to provide families with recommendations if a positive test occurs from someone who has been present.
